Annie grew up in Oklahoma City and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma in 2015. She began her professional career as a case manager for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City in their Family HOPE and Transitional Housing programs. This work inspired her to pursue a legal education so she could continue to help others in an even more specialized capacity. Before applying to law school, she joined Rischard & Carsey as legal assistant and client services coordinator, which provided her with an exposure to a wide range of practice areas, most notably elder law and estate planning.
Annie graduated in May 2021 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the American Indian Law Review, research assistant for Professor Robert Spector, and interned for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, and the Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Annie passed the July 2021 Oklahoma Bar exam and was sworn in as an attorney at the Oklahoma Judicial Center on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. She is looking forward to learning from and developing her practice with her father, Denis, and to serving our clients as an Associate Attorney, especially in the areas of estate planning and elder law.
